The second to last book in the series sees James stranded in hurricane ravaged Mexico with the responsibility of looking after the two children if ex flying ace Jack Stone.The book concludes with James being trapped on a Caribbean island inhabited by criminals. One of the island rules is that inhabitants can not leave the island once they have arrived.
To escape from the island James must successfully run the La Avenida de la Muerte.
